The prestigious Wine guide “descorchados”, by Patricio Tapia, has chosen our cordillera Sauvignon 2014 as the best Wine from Elqui Valley, Rated 93 points, this is the best wine made with this grape in the Elqui Valley, Currently Chile’s northernmost commercially viable wine-producing valley. Located at the southern edge of the Atacama Desert the valley has a desert-like climate cooled by strong winds from the Pacific Ocean and the Andes Mountains and has a dry, rocky terrain in steep.
Our sauvignon blanc has been the last to be included in our cordillera valley collection as a result of several years searching for the best terroir to do a unique wine. With its extreme climatologic conditions Elqui offers a paradise for the Sauvignon blanc.
Moreover, all our cordillera wines have been rated by descorchardos with at least 90 points.
