Armand de Brignac Rosé is among the finest examples of the famous pink Champagne blend ever conceived, and is packaged in a brilliant pink-gold bottle with matching adornments.

Its beautiful color is achieved through assemblage, the process by which sparkling white wine is blended with a proportion of still Pinot Noir wine. Our Pinot Noir is picked from old -growth vines grown specifically for use in Rosé Champagne.

Our Rosé is announced with a rich bouquet of red fruits with delicate, smoky grilled notes behind. It is fresh and full-bodied on the palate with aromas of strawberries and blackcurrant, and is lingering and complex in its finish. Armand de Brignac Rosé is produced in extremely limited quantities – even by comparison to our boutique Brut Gold.

The Story

Armand de Brignac Rosé is an elegant and delicious “basket of red fruits” as described by Chef de Cave, Jean-Jacques Cattier. The vibrant rose hue is given from the inclusion of 15% of still red wine, harvested from old Pinot Noir vines that produce fruit with great flavor intensity. The assemblage comprises 50% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier and 10% Chardonnay and is a trio of vintages; 2009, 2010 & 2012.

Strawberry, currants and cherry abound on the nose, with floral hints and a touch of sweet almond.  The red grape dominance brings a structured palate filled with black fruits, cherries and hints of baked pastry. The Chardonnay brings the lightness and elegance.

Ideal as an aperitif or pairs beautifully with truffled veal, duck confit and wild salmon.

Wine Information

Champagne Armand de Brignac is a range of prestige cuvées that offer uncompromising quality and taste, crafted by 11th generation champagne growers, the Cattier family. Drawing upon more than 250 years of experience in the region, the father and son winemaking team dedicate intense attention to detail in the creation of the Armand de Brignac champagnes. They source fruit from the vineyards showing the highest quality of the harvest, taking solely the first and freshest portion of the cuvée press and blending a unique trio of vintages for each assemblage.

Each metalized bottle is finished by hand, with the application of French pewter labels, polished, and housed in a wooden lacquered gift box, ensuring every single bottle is unique. A small and highly skilled team of just 14 people touch a bottle of Armand de Brignac, from pressing the fruit to the bottle’s departure from the cellars in France.

Moderately intense, pink rose colour. Fresh and vivid nose with some floral nuances mixed with cranberry and lingonberry. Dry and crisp palate with refined silky texture. Vibrant mouthfeel with red fruit flavours. Long, lingering finish. Firm and flavourful rosé champagne. JL 93p. (Oct 2021)

A deepl, vinous rosé, almost garnet in color, this distinctive version offers dried cherry and currant flavors, accented by delicate dried thyme, graphite and singed orange peel notes. Well-recommended for food, this is firm and lightly chalky in texture, with a lingering, mineral-laced finish.
