A quite exciting wine with a special character. Aged for 9 years on the lees after the second fermentation, this blend of 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay has a dosage based on Bas-Armagnac 1943. It displays a golden colour with excellent perlage. The nose is complex and rich but still presenting freshness. Aroma reminiscent of Williams pear, ripe apple, freshly baked brioche and hints of vanilla. Elegant toasted aroma and hints of minerality. On the palate well structured with very fine mousseux, opulent character but elegant mouthfeel and complex finish.
