The Story
UPTick Vineyards is family owned and operated with 27 acres located in the Russian River Valley and 19 acres located in the Dry Creek Valley. Both are located in Sonoma County, California. Steven's hard work and good fortune in the financial industry has enabled him to follow Robin's dream of owning a vineyard. Steven, Robin and their family created the UPTick Vineyard label in 2007.
"UP Tick" is defined as ... "a transaction in the stock market at a price above the price of the preceding transaction". It can also mean a move forward to a higher level experience in the quality and production of wine. Our wines are meant to be shared with family and friends. Pronounced cassis and cacao lead to rich blackberry, huckleberry, and subdued rose. Sturdy tannins with a long and dry finish.
