History

Coming from families of avid wine collectors and connoisseurs, Andrew and Melody fell in love with the beautiful vineyards of Bordeaux during their honeymoon and it was then that the idea of building their own story in the vines first struck. With perseverance and quite some luck after years of search for the perfect terroir, Andrew and Melody came across Chateau La Commanderie and saw much potential.

With the guidance of their friend, renowned winemaker Pascal Chatonnet, Chateau La Commanderie embarked on a series of works, renovations and upgrades to both the vineyard and the cellar, and after two years of work, is finally ready to unveiled to the public.

Nestled in the village of Catusseau in the heart of the famous appellation Pomerol in right bank Bordeaux, the vineyards Chateau La Commanderie boasts an exquisite terroir. A total of six hectares surrounded by some world famous viticulturists, Chateau La Commanderie’s vines are in excellent condition, aged to maturity and ready to be harvested into the finest of the vintage.
