Grapes : 95% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc

Barrels : 18 (1800 cases)

A bot of history : behind a gate built in the 18th century, on the Petrus' road, visitors can view Château La Croix Saint-Georges, which has been completely restored. On one of the façade of the cellars, a sculpture representing Saint-Georges fighting from horseback reminds that this domain used to belong to the chivalrous order of the charitable of Saint-Jean-de-Jerusalem.

The vineyard of the Château La Croix Saint-Georges is located on the graves of the high terrace, between Vieux Château Certan, Petit Village and Le Pin.

Soil : clayed-gravelly.

Grapes: 95% of Merlot, for the roundness, the width and the fruit aromas, and 5% of Cabernet franc, for the elegance and structure.
