History
Top quality is the key word of Gerhard and Brigitte Kirschner’s traditional winery. Their aim is a perfect ripeness of the grapes as well as individual cultivation of their types of grapes (mainly Gruener Veltliner, Rheinriesling and Zweigelt) in order to offer dry, typical wines.
The cellar of the Kirschners does not house gigantic tanks but a remarkable number of smaller casks which contain a large variety of good wines. The wines, true to the terroir and shaped by the climate, grape variety and different kinds of soil, have a wide range from light, fruity and fresh wines to those which have plenty of extract and are concentrated and full-bodied.
