Founded in 1949, Producta Vignobles has long since become a leading name in the market for wines from Bordeaux and the south-west of France. A co-operative wine merchant with an impeccable reputation, Producta has become the supplier of choice for countless professionals in retail distribution, restaurants and the wine industry.

These high standards are shared by all of our people – from our winemakers and oenologists to our commercial teams – who work tirelessly to offer you a product of exceptional quality. "Quality" is a word which is often overused, but at Producta Vignobles it is more than just a cliché, it is the "guiding principle" which has informed our work for over 60 years.

Since its creation, Producta Vignobles has placed the principles of sustainable development at the heart of its operations:

Vineyards

Producta Vignobles unites 28 cooperative wineries, in every winegrowing appellation in the south of France.

Médoc

  • AOC Médoc
  • AOC Haut Médoc
  • AOC Saint-Estèphe

One of the key strengths of the Médoc AOC region is the abundance of small estates which have grouped together to form cooperative wineries. One such cooperative is Unimedoc, a member of Producta Vignobles.

In this region, the subsoil is often rich in clay, limestone and sedimentary rock. Merlot is by far the most widespread grape variety, followed by Cabernet Sauvignon. To a lesser extent, you will also find Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec.

Bergerac

  • AOC Bergerac Rouge, Rosé et Blanc
  • AOC Cotes de Bergerac Moelleux
  • AOC Pécharmant
  • AOC Monbazillac
  • AOC du Sud-ouest (Gaillac, Cahors, Buzet, Jurançon)

The vineyards of Bergerac (planted predominantly with Cabernet varieties) cover 13,000 ha and include 13 separate appellations. The wines of Pécharmant de Monbazillac are produced in a very specific area, while AOC Bergerac and Côtes de Bergerac wines (rouge, rosé, blanc) may originate anywhere in the region.

Bordeaux

  • AOC Bordeaux Rouge, Rosé, Blanc Sec et Moelleux
  • AOC Bordeaux Supérieur
  • AOC Entre-deux-mers

Stretching out between the Dordogne and Garonne rivers, the Entre-Deux-Mers terroir offers a variety of terrains and soils. The dry whites from the region are generally fruity, while the reds are often warm and full-bodied.

St Emilion

  • AOC Puisseguin
  • AOC Lussac Saint-Emilion
  • AOC Montagne Saint-Emilion
  • AOC Côtes de Bordeaux

Enshrined in the heart of the region's most prestigious terroir, the wines of the outlying Saint Emilion appellations (Puisseguin, Lussac, Montagne and St Georges) have all the substance of their famous neighbours. The most common grape varieties are Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
