The grapes were handpicked in the early hours from four premium wine regions: Olifantsrivier, Durbanville, Darling and Stellenbosch. This regional combination brings together these unique avors in full harmony.
The grapes did not receive any skin contact and were gently pressed. Fermentation lasted 3 weeks at 15°C. The wine was left on its primary lees for 5 weeks post fermentation and and after blending and extra 6 months on ne lees.
A classic maritime Sauvignon Blanc, this wine reveals aromas of cut grass, asparagus and hints of citrus tropical fruit. Discover a multilayered, complex mouth feel, a fresh and crisp vibrancy with lingering avors of Cape gooseberry and zesty fruit with a subtle mineral nish.
The dry 2015 weather led to one of the healthiest seasons in years with very little loss. Warm weather resulted in earlier bud break and a warm, dry and windy summer regulated growth and accelerated ripening. Wines were above average in quality with exceptional avor.
