This Romanee-Saint-Vivant is a slightly musty bottle. Even after it was poured in the glass for over an hour, the mustiness did not fade. There are notes of wild game, sweet spices and a hint of rustic character which is surprising in a Grand Cru. Tannins are still firm but flavours are starting to fade. Drink soon.
