Blood red.
On the nose, some spices, sultana notes, a little oak, dried fruits and olives. All leads to a lovely plum pudding character. Plenty of complexity here.
Lovely soft, plush plump tannins on a persistent finish. Bit like drinking velvet cushions. A delicious, cuddly, welcoming wine.
On revealing, this was the wine that won 'Best Wine of the Show' at the Adelaide Show last year. It is certainly designed to please.
