The Story

Grape Variety: 100% Chardonnay from Mesnil-sur-Oger
Dosage: 3,5 g/l
Vinification: Traditional harvest and slow pressing (batch of 4000 kg per 4 hours).
Ageing on lees: over 30 months
Base wines: 90 % of the 2011 vintage
Reserve wines: 10 % of older vintages (2008 – 2009 – 2010)

Producer’s opinion:
Based on a generous vintage, the blend was easy to balance, to produce a fresh and delicate wine.

Sommelier’s opinion:
With its very pale color and the very fine bubbles, it’s a charming, fresh champagne, with a bouquet of citrus aromas, from fresh grapefruit to white orchard flowers and with hints of green apple.

When to serve:
This very refined blanc de blancs suits perfectly for a sunny Sunday brunch, an aperitif and a “champagne mood” around the clock.
