Wine Information
A distinctive, balanced champagne, Brut de Nominée is a premium cuvée, dedicated to inspiration: that of our Cellar Masters, who create it and that of champagne lovers everywhere, who enjoy it.
THE FACTS
A perfect blend of Champagnes most prized grape varieties, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, grown in selected premier crus and grands crus vineyards, such as Mailly, Avize and Chouilly. Cellar-ageing for five to six years results in maximum complexity.
THE LOOK
Rich golden yellow with bronze tints.
THE NOSE
Layers of aromatic complexity from delicate citrus aromas, to notes of ripe fruit and fresh brioche. With time in the glass, there are hints of vanilla, toast and elegant mineral notes.
THE TASTE
Full, complex flavours of dried apricots and plums with hints of acacia flower, honey and sweet spice. Very powerful and long.
THE TIME AND THE PLACE
A champagne for anyone with a love of fine food or a love of the fine things of life! Feeling extravagant? Match it with foie gras, truffles, turbot or a fine aged Comté cheese. Feeling mellow? Sip it late in the evening by a log fire or under a starry sky. Feeling inspired? Drink it slowly before a white page or a white canvas and create your own masterpiece.
ENJOY WITH
“This is a vinous champagne with structure and length and lots of toasty notes on the nose. It would go perfectly with our rognonnade of veal with shiitake mushrooms and rosemary cream.”
