The Story
These deeply-colored varieties are indigenous to Turkey the land where wild vitis vinifera originated. Okuzgozu is known as Bull’s Eye for its large, dark berries and has fruit-forward flavors of black cherry and raspberry with lively acidity. Bogazkere is named the Throat Scratcher for its high, dense tannins and flavors of mulberry and blackberry with complex black pepper, clove, chocolate and licorice notes.
