The Story

La Ricolma is made from 100% Merlot grapes especially seclected from prime vineyards and hand-picked when perfectly mature. It is fermented in stainless steel tanks for about 18 days, then racked and pressed. After it is racked once again, the wine is left to mature for 20-22 months in French oak barriques. Written Notes

Sexy and decidedly brilliant and modern in the sensory profile, alternating with gentle notes of lavender, hyacinth, wild violet, plums, crushed bluenerries, sour cherries, juniper berries and white pepper. Full bodied, silky, fine grain tannins, precise and prefectly blended in the matrix and a juicy, concentrated finale which lights up every sip and makes it alive and extremely pleasant. A gentle caress that is impossible to resist. 22 months refinement in French oak of which about 35% is new. Better from 2023. A perfect wine, a divine wine.
