Amalaya is a modern, practical and functional winery, characterised with various soils and microclimates, located in Cafayate, Salta. At an altitude of 1,800 metres above sea level, it has a production capacity of around 1,930,000 litres in two lines; one for red wine in small concrete vessels and another for white wine in stainless steel tanks. Amalaya has two vineyards: Las Mercedes and San Isidro. There are 107 hectares planted and a hundred more will be grown in the next years. The varieties grown include Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tannat, Bonarda, Syrah, Torrontés and Riesling among others.
