History
Since it was founded in 1822, Morin Père & Fils has preserved local traditions and contributed to the reputation of Burgundy wines, both in France and abroad. Every year, the estate welcomes more than 30,000 visitors, who discover a savoir-faire built up over almost two centuries. Today, the Maison Morin Père & Fils is one of the leading wine merchants in Nuits-Saint-Georges. It is also reputed for its Marc de Bourgogne, which is aged in oak barrels to bring out the best in it. |

1934 THE FRATERNITY Jean Morin was one of the co-founders in 1934 of the famous Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin, the brotherhood of Burgundy wine enthusiasts, alongside Georges Faiveley and Camille Rodier. |

1960 THE GENERAL General Charles de Gaulle had a special liking for the Maison's Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru, which he served during his presidency at official receptions in the Elysée Palace. |

1987 A NEW ÉLAN The maison Morin became part of Boisset La Famille des Grands Vins, one of Burgundy's leading wine groups, in 1987. |
