The total area of vineyards actually in production is 60 hectares, all registered in the DOC Montescudaio. They were planted from the start of the seventies with traditional planting layouts and spurred cordon. For the most part there are the two usual grape varieties of the area and of Tuscany: Sangiovese and Trebbiano.
