History
Domaine Dureuil-Janthial in Rully ranks, along with Domaine Bruno Lorenzon in Mercurey, as the finest winery in the Côte Chalonnaise. The unparalleled range of white and red Rully produced by Vincent is a testimony to what a dedicated, talented winegrower can achieve in a lesser-known appellation.
Following a long lasting family tradition, Vincent Dureuil and his wife Céline took over the family estate in 1994. Since then, the couple has worked tirelessly to showcase the full potential of the rich terroirs of Rully and to raise the image of this historic appellation. The village of Rully is at the northern limit of the Côte Chalonnaise. Sitting on a similar south to southeast facing clay and limestone slope, and only a 15 minute-drive away, the premier cru vineyards of Rully share many of the attributes of the best sites on the Cote d’Or.
