Written Notes

Tasted in November 2021. 68% C. Sauvignon + 32% Merlot. A scent of tobacco leaves and ripe blackcurrants on the nose. Powerful and succulent on the nose with tight structure and meaty finish. A classic vintage for this wine.

  • 93p

Dark purple colour with violet hue and black core. Aromatic nose with distinct fruit, blackberries and blackcurrants, earthy minerality, discreet hints of graphite and subtle oak with fine roasting aroma in the background. On the palate complex and well structured with ripe tannins and fine acidity, crisp fruit, elegant toasting flavour and discreet spiciness. A wine with convincing balance and tension.
