Winemaking
Our Focus is to present the unique atmosphere of Napa Valley in our limited production single vineyard wines. Source fruit from prestigious vineyards throughout the area and capture the inherent vineyard characteristics in every bottle. Most will find our wines of balance, structure and depth. With our focus on single vineyard wines, our Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% clone 337 from one of the most acclaimed vineyards in Rutherford. In the heart of Rutherford, the vineyard was originally planted by Mrs. Thomas Rutherford in 1895.
In the years following, Georges de Latour purchased the vineyard and named it Beaulieu Vineyard Number 3. Many acclaimed wines originated from this vineyard including wines made by Andre Tchelistcheff who’s wines became the definition of Napa Valley cabernet sauvignon in the 1960’s and 1970’s. This heritage compelled us to produce our single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from the old Beaulieu Vineyard Number 3 and let the Rutherford dust attribute all its unique characteristics to our wine.
