The essential style is betrayed by the contact with the fine lees generating a complex and multiformed wine on the nose from the extraordinary 2018 Chianti Classico vintage, particularly from Gaiole. The elegance of crushed blueberries gives background to the gentle notes of geranuims, hibiscus flowers and magnolia. Alternating in the background are nuances of cedar and salted caramel with cocoa powder. Medium to full bodied, perfectly integrated tannins and a savoury, uni-directional finale, extremely modern with the beauty of the fruit and the drinkability of a great Sangiovese.
