Written Notes

Good looking normal size bottle. Colour is ruby red, and looking dark and deep. On the nose it is open, intense, complex, opulent, ripe and rich. The taste is full, round, ripe, fruity, toasty, fat, warming, with sweet tannins, and average in acidity, full-bodied, with balanced structure and developing. On the palate it is layered and has toasty, mint, blackcurrant, cassis, perfumed and chocolate flavours. The finish is long, smooth, round and spicy. This wine is fine. Perfectly stored bottles are still very worthy and will last well for another 1-5 years and decant at least 2h before tasting.
