Opulent and powerful for d’Armailhac with blackcurrants, blackberries and black olives. Full-bodied, tannic and extremely muscular. Very well done indeed.

Tasted in November 2021. 68% C. Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, 7% C. Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. Fruity and elegant with a silky texture, fine complexity and lingering finish. Lighter than 2019 but with more elegance. It's a pleasure to drink already. 92-93p.

Dark purple red with violet hue. Very elegant nose, blackberries and blackcurrants, fine oak spices and discreet roasting aroma in the background. On the palate well balanced elegance and freshness, fine fruit with very good length. 92
