WINE SPECTATOR 90/100

Pepper, savory and bay leaf notes lead the way, with a core of medium-weight cassis and cherry flavors. A tobacco hint and chalky minerality extend the finish, which has a pleasant austerity. A touch reticent in style, but will age well.

Given another year in barrel, the wines should gain more complexity and fruit volume. Châteaux, in all sub-regions, are e...

Written Notes

Potensac - 38% Cabernet Sauvignon 45% Merlot 17% Cabernet Franc -

33% New oak Deep colour, Earthy minty notes, good perfume, lots of

freshness, with good spice, nice mineral notes intermingled with oak and

a meaty savoury edge on the finish. A good result for Potensac and good

value as always. 88-91/100 2024-2035
