Written Notes

Deep purple colour with violet hue and almost black core. Concentrated and multi-layered character with juicy fruit, blackberries and hints of blackcurrants, ripe plums, complemented by refined gingerbread spices, elegant toasting and hints of violets. On the palate opulent with ripe fruit and well structured tannins, elegant spiciness and excellent length and oriental spices in the finish.

Le Bon Pasteur - intense black cherries wrapped in dark chocolate and cocoa powder on the nose. Some black truffle too. Voluminous, well-packed with everything, strong backbone, creamy fruit and grained tannin. Long-lasting finish. Distinct and excellent effort. 95p.
