Wine Description
The Story
Vermentino is a centuries-old Mediterranean grape; here on the coast of Tuscany, our Vermentino represents that ancient winemaking tradition. Painstaking attention to vineyard management and extremely gentle winemaking practices yield a Vermentino that is delicate, stylish and well-balanced.
Displaying ultra-crisp, fruity aromas of fresh pear and citrus, our Vermentino is pure joy of living, Italian style.
Wine Information
The 2012-2013 winter began with an unusual rain storm : 400 mm in 2 days on November 11-12. But the rain didn‘t stop and from October 1st through March 31st we had a total of 1150 mm of rain. A record! Consequently, budbreak was late (April 5).
