Written Notes

Very complex nose of roasted meat, ripe wild blackberry, elderberry and a whiff of pipe tobacco. Great interplay of powdery tannins and ripe fruit on the concentrated and beautifully proportioned palate. Wonderful berry intensity at the very long straight finish. Concentrated From the Garden of Eden vineyard. Drink or hold. Screw cap.

Deep crimson. Classic blackberry, mulberry dark chocolate aromas with black liquorice/ aniseed notes. Saturated dark berry fruits and fine chocolaty textures with underlying roasted chestnut mocha oak.  Finishes chocolaty firm with a lovely bitter-fresh chinotto freshness. Beautiful wine with superb richness and vigour. The bitter-sweet notes add tension and lengthen the finish. 2023- 2032 14.6% Alc 97 points
