History

Der Name Châtagneréaz kommt von den Kastanienwäldern, die einst die Region La Côte bedeckten. In einigen Chroniken wird der Flurname La Vissenche bei Tartegnin erwähnt, der für die besten und grössten Kastanien bekannt war.
