Chateau La Tour du Pin has its roots in the ancient domain of "Figeac" which it came after a double division of the original estate. In 1947 Antoine Moeuix, the uncle of Jean Pierre Moueix bought the estate. It reamined under Moueix command until 2006 when it was acquired by Bernard Arnault and Albert Frère, the owners of the legendary Cheval Blanc. Chateau La Tour du Pin vineyards cover 10 hectares and the vineyards are planted with 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc. The average age of vines is 40 years old.
