Ho-Lan Soul is the largest winery in Ningxia. It covers 3,000 hectares of vines which were planted in 2007 when the estate was purchased by Mr Chen Qi. He purchased 6,000 hectares of deserted land in Ningxia in 2007.
Nowadays, the winery has 200 workers in the vineyard permanently and 2000 during the harvest period. The winery is assisted by the French wine consultant, enologist Stephane Toutoundji from Bordeaux.
