The Abercrombie is Howard Park Wines finest Cabernet Sauvignon. In most years the wine is a blend of grapes sourced from the Abercrombie vineyard in Mount Barker and the Leston vineyard in Margaret River. Our long term commitment to and passion for grape growing in the two major premium grape growing regions of Western Australia is reflected in this wine.

Written Notes
Depth of colour here with a crimson rim.
A beautifully generous Cabernet. My impression was that it was Margaret River, from one of the seemingly endless run of great vintages they have enjoyed for almost a decade, but on being unmasked, it is a blend from both Great Southern and Margaret River, the former being slightly more dominant.
So impressive. Nicely balanced and offers a pleasing mix of structural elegance, supple texture and richness of flavour. Good concentrated blackberry notes. Very fine, long tannins.
Love this as a glorious, well balanced, carefully moderated Cabernet with time on its side.
