1999 Barolo La Serra, Roberto Voerzio
Very intense and youthful nose that delivers dark cherry and plummy fruit with notes of violets, sweet spices and mushrooms.
Full bodied with a massive tannic grip that i balanced by very young and sexy dark cherry fruit wrapped in florality and sweet spices the develops on the long finish into mushrooms and truffle. A very impressive Barolo that still needs a couple of years to unfold. Great vintage for La Serra!
