Guy Préaut

Winegrowers from father to son for 7 generations. Our vineyard is located in the heart of the Côte des Bar, in Gyé sur Seine, in the south of Champagne.

For 140 years, the Préaut family has passed on its knowledge, its gestures and cultivates its land to produce refined, gourmet and delicate champagnes in the Champagne tradition and respect for the land.

Located in the South of Champagne, in the great vineyard of the Côte des Bar which represents nearly 20% of the Champagne vineyard, our exploitation is spread over 4 municipalities, (i.e. 10 ha in pinot noir and 2 ha in chardonnay). And we cultivate vines whose average age is 20 years.

“Les Essentielles” which promise you a delicate and fruity immersion in the Côte-des-Bars, and “Les Subtiles”, our exceptional cuvées as refined as they are gourmet which brilliantly sign all the know-how of the Guy Préaut house.
These 6 cuvées are the fruit of the work of several generations who have deployed all the know-how necessary for the work of the vine and the vinification with the greatest respect for the land.
