History

It all dates back to 1870 when Maurice Vincent JEANJEAN opened the first accounds book. At 23, he was the eldest son of Etienne Maurice JEANJEAN, a hard working, efficient wine maker nicknamed "Father speed merchant". His barrel making trade evolved as he became a wholesaler and then an active trader. In 1936 the Jeanjean Family bought what was to become the oldest Domaine of the "Vignobles Jeanjean" : the Mas de Lunes in the garrigues around Aumelas.
