History
The Weegmüllers, an old noble family from Zurich, emigrated from Switzerland to the Rhineland Palatinate in 1657. The family began producing wine in 1685. In 1737, the Weegmüllers settled in Haardt, a village close to Neustadt an der Weinstrasse. Haardt, also known as ‘the balcony of the Palatinate’ offers breathtaking views over the Rhine Valley.
