When I visited Bordeaux in early March, Corona was a threat on the horizon and France was more concerned about an air traffic control strike. Written Notes

Tasted in February 2022. Intense nose of acacia flower and green apples, crisp and complex on the palate, fresh and with bright acidity, complex, fine structure and persistent finish. Textbook white Pessac-Leognan. 92-93p.

Bright yellow with green hue. Refined character with aroma reminiscent of tangerine zest, aromatic herbs, backed by juicy fruit reminiscent of pear and white currants. On the palate well balanced with elegant acidity, juicy fruit, discreet spiciness, aromatic herbs and hints of minerality. A well structured Pessac-Léognan with good mouthfeel and length.
