Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

Compared to the more powerful 2013 and the elegant 2014, the 2015 vintage strikes a balance between richness and finesse, making it a favorite among collectors and sommeliers alike. The 2015 season was marked by low yields but exceptional quality, shaped by drought conditions and early development. Unseasonably warm winter and spring, leading to early bud break and bloom. On May, the cool temperatures during peak bloom caused uneven fruit set. Warm and dry summer, with consistent heat and minimal rainfall. The harvest was one of the earliest on record. Significantly reduced yield due to poor fruit set, but grapes were highly concentrated and small with thick skins. As a result the wines show intensity, richness, and balance. Despite challenges, winemakers praised the vintage for its purity of fruit and structural finesse.

A deep ruby red colour. The nose is complex and evocative—woody undertones blend with the scent of dried autumn leaves, adding depth and layered elegance. On the palate, wine is full-bodied and rounded, rich yet restrained, with a harmonious texture and subtle layers. The finish lingers softly, graced by a delicate touch of cacao that seduces and soothes. A refined, delicately powerful, and extremely seductive wine that can be enjoyed already but will reveal its true colours in next 5-10 years. If served now, decant for 3 hours and serve at 17-18C.
