Having reached its first decade, McGuigan's 2005 Vineyard Select Semillon unmasks aromas of beeswax, mushroom and roasted almonds.  Its waxy texture is offset by a crisp acidic backbone, while its nutty, yeasty palate makes way for a surprising gunflint finish.
