The 2021 San Leonardo presents a luminous ruby color and an exceptionally refined, cool-climate aromatic profile featuring fresh cassis, dark plums, graphite, fine flintstone, and subtle hints of violets and mild spices. On the palate, it strikes a masterful balance between muscular structure and remarkable restraint, offering a seamless, velvety texture driven by super-silky tannins, vibrant red and black fruit flavors, and a distinctive, refreshing Alpine minerality that extends into a long, persistent finish

Intense purple colour with violet hue. Expressive wine with aroma reminiscent of graphite and fine flintstone, sweet red peppers backed by ripe blackcurrants, ripe plums and mulberries, hints of mild spices and a whiff of violets and liquorice. On the palate well structured with wonderful tannins, creamy texture and velvety character, flavour quoting the nose, complex and layered with excellent length. One of the best San Leonardo ever tasted.
