History

Laureated in the literature of the 16th century and the Spanish Golden Age, the region of Villa del Prado reached its peak with the arrival of the Royal Courts in Madrid. The vineyard of the Tejoneras estate was planted in the mid-twentieth century with Grenache, and nowadays is complemented by the best foreign and domestic varieties of grapes. Today, the land of Tejoneras produces the most award-winning wines from the Region of Madrid, Spain.

Granites, quartzite and slates of the Gredos Mountains, on which foothills the Tejoneras vineyard sits since mid-twentieth century, enrich the soil that nourishes our vines.
