History
The winery was founded in 1863 by Grandfather Giacinto and his son Antonio continued his father’s business until 1932 when, unfortunately died. The winery stopped production until 1953 when Giacinto (enologist), Raffaele and Marina, by then grown up, resumed the management of the winery, focusing from the beginning on the production of quality wines. At the end of the 1980’s, the daughters of Giacinto (Elena and Cristina Brovia) started to work in the winery after having finished their studies (Elena is “Agrotecnico” and Cristina is “Enotecnico”). Both of them have inherited the vineyard tradition and guarantee the future of the winery. In 2001 Elena’s husband (Alex Sanchez, bachelor in Economics and MBA) moves from Spain to Langa (Piedmont) and starts working in the winery.
