CAMi Vineyards

CAMi began as a vineyard which my husband, Tom Shelton, and I purchased in the year 2000. Our small patch of arid Napa Valley land sits north of St. Helena, bordering the Selby Creek and the Silverado Trail. We lovingly call our family sanctuary the Trail House.

July 2016 marked the release of our first vintage, 2013 CAMi Red Wine and Cabernet Sauvignon. In 2006, we replanted the Cabernet vineyard in 101-14 rootstock and the 337 Clone. This clone produces small clusters of tiny berries with intense fruit and soft tannins. Our CAMi Merlot was planted in 1996 from the Three Palms Vineyards clone.
