Château La Mission is actually located in the Lalande-de-Pomerol appellation, sitting right on the southwestern border of the more famous Pomerol AOC. It is often easily confused with the world-famous Left Bank First Growth-equivalent, Château La Mission Haut-Brion in Pessac-Léognan. Managed by the Garde-Lasserre family (who also own Clos René in Pomerol), this tiny 2-hectare estate produced a highly praised vintage in 2025
