History
Since 1975, after six generations, Bernard Lartigue, winemaker and master of the estate, has been perpetuating the Medoc values specific to his family patrimony on his Bordeaux vineyard. Rigorous, demanding, perfectionist, he is constantly on the lookout for excellence.
This leads him to obtain the best potential of his 22-hectare estate, in order to develop a great wine, with a very long aging ability while maintaining its belonging to the land and developing a unique signature and identity.
Bernard Lartigue has brought to his production all his expertise and audacity. The knowledge of its 42 parcels and the respect of the traditional work on the ground allow it to reach the right balance between powerful aromas and elegant structures. Behind its great wines lies the authenticity of the terroir of Listrac.
The wines of the Château de Mayne Lalande have been presented to great restaurateurs, wine merchants and traders, in France and abroad, from the year 1982. They have been introduced on the Place de Bordeaux since the 1995 vintage.
Their quality has seduced traders, consumers and celebrities: Pierre Perret, Patrick Timsit, Catherine Ceylac, Jacques Higelin, etc., appeared in the castle.
True emblems of culture and gastronomy Médocaines, these red wines are served at the table of the Presidency of the Republic.
By passion and willingness to share the wealth of its terroir, Bernard Lartigue has taken up a new challenge by creating a guest house in the heart of the vineyard of Mayne Lalande, for an exceptional moment in a calm and warm environment.
