Throughout its history Miraval has served as the home of the Orsini Prince of Naples, a recording studio where tracks of Pink Floyd's "The Wall" were recorded, and today a partnership between legendary winemaking familly Famille Perrin and celebrities Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.  The wines produced at Miraval under this partnership have become legendary, and in 2012 Château Miraval's Rosé was named the number one wine in the world by Wine Spectator magazine.

Miraval exclusive valley location embodies an exceptional terroir. Terroir is the expression of the soil, the climate and the history of the land - the essence of the wine. At an altitude of 350 meters the vines are privileged to enjoy warm, sunny days and cool nights, bringing freshness and balance to the vines.The natural day and chalk soils are important in retaining vital water supply while at the same time draining excess water, contributing to healthy grape maturation.
