The property is situated ideally in the sub-region of the Wilyabrup. It has an elevated north-facing rise planted to the Bordeaux red grapes of Cabernet Sauvignon (significantly the Houghton clone), Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Completed in time for the 2008 vintage, the Fraser Gallop Estate winery is custom designed to process a maximum capacity of 300 tonnes of grapes – particularly designed in layout and size for the fermentation of Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Semillon Sauvignon Blanc blends.
