History

The winery is located in the ancient medieval village called Torriglione, near La Morra, in the heart of the Barolo production area; enlarged in 2009, the current structure has 5 premises each of which used for a function related to the processing phase of wine, in order to make fully independent and functional each area.

Vineyards

The vineyards are located for about one half around the company:

-2 hectares in the "Rocche Annunziata" zone where we produce the homonymous Barolo cru;
-3 hectares around the village of Torriglione, where in addition to the production of Barbera d'Alba and Langhe Chardonnay Utinot, we produce the second Barolo cru, the Torriglione;
-3 hectares in La Morra, where we produce Dolcetto d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba and Barolo;
-2 hectares in Monfo...

Winemaking

The winemaking philosophy begins in the vineyard, where everything, starting from pruning, depends on the quality that you will eventually get in the harvest, thus low yields of grapes per plant and minimum use of chemicals on vegetation to preserve the health of grapes in full respect of nature and the environment.
In the cellar you can only try to maintain the quality that nature has given us and then actuate the traditional thought of work...
