Ghost Block Winery

Since 1903 our family has harvested grapes in Napa Valley supplying some of Napa Valley’s most prestigious wineries with our fruit. In 2006 we launched our own brand; Ghost Block. Our finest fruit has been chosen to make exceptional and collectable Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Each of our single vineyard wines are produced from our certified organically grown vineyards.

A Grower/Producer is unique in that it owns and manages all of its own land, producing wine from those vineyards. This is a definite advantage over so many wineries that buy fruit from growers- like us. We own our vineyards and manage them with enough care to be Certified by the California Certified Organic Farmers since 1991. Family owned since 1903, here are three single vineyards that offer you Ghost Block Wines:

Nestled on a gently sloping knoll on the north edge of Yountville, Ghost Block vineyard is named in honor of the historic Pioneer Cemetery for which it borders. The vineyard is 16 acres planted to Cabernet Sauvignon.

The continued development and focused farming in the vineyard has led to great vine balance and even ripening, resulting in excellent grapes to work with. As the vineyard matures the Ghost Block profile should continue to evolv...
