The Wagram is a south-facing terrain on a gently-sloped plain with deep-reaching layers of fertile loess soil. This landscape gets its name from the ancient riverbank of the Danube – “Wogenrain”. Vinification can only preserve the aromas that grapes built up during the ripening season. Thus, gentle processing and great care in the cellar are a real concern to us. We aim to secure a deep fruitiness typical of the respective variety and a very clear structure in our white wines by applying pneumatic pressing, complete clarification of the musts and cool fermentation.
